General Conditions

• ​​Payment Policy: To guarantee the reservation of the date, a deposit of at least 50% of the total cost of the event must be made. The remaining 50% should be made at least 7 days before the trip.

• The maximum occupancy of the boats Pérola, Xuxu & Lady Gloria is 14 passengers each, without exception;

• Babies and children count as passengers;

• If you want an invoice with taxpayer ID, please provide the details before the payment;

• On all tours, a deposit fee of 50€ is charged (refundable at the end of the tour);

• If you choose to bring your drinks and food, you will be charged a corkage fee of 30€ (non-refundable). Check out the forbidden items list;

• You must take all necessary materials and cooling methods;

• We can sell ice if requested in advance.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

• It is forbidden to bring shrimp, glass bottles of beer (canned beer only), and drinks based on red wine or dark spirits (red wine, red sangria, black vodka);

• It is forbidden to bring glassware onto the vessel;

• It is forbidden to bring or smoke shisha inside the vessel;

• It is forbidden to bring confetti onto the vessel;

• It is forbidden to consume or take any type of narcotics onto the boat;

• The use of suntan lotion, sequins, and glitter is prohibited.

Rules on Board 

• For everything to start well, everyone needs to be in good health and free from Alcohol and Narcotics;

• We want to have drinks and food for everyone, it is not allowed to remove anything from the fridge or other locker, only crew members are assigned to that. Any missing items will be charged to the customer;

• To avoid compromising the sound system, it is not allowed to touch any of the speakers or any other device related to them. (Except if authorized by the crew);

• It is forbidden to spill any liquid on the speakers, any damage caused will be charged to the customer;

• We need to do more events with this boat, please don't do anything that could compromise the next trip, any damage will be charged to the customer;

• Do not touch any navigation device or vessel control instruments. Any damage to them may be charged to the customer;​

• ​Some people are bothered by tobacco smoke, smoking is not allowed inside the cabin. A fine of €150 will be applied; Smoking is prohibited on the flybridge;

• For your safety and easy trip management, please respect the instructions given by the crew about the permitted and prohibited areas of the boat; If you are feeling seasick, we have seasickness pills we can provide, don't hesitate to ask;

• In compliance with Portuguese law and to avoid accidents, the consumption of alcohol by persons under 18 years of age is prohibited. In case of need, the crew can ask for identification;

• To prevent accidents, the crew may refuse to provide alcohol to people who are already in advanced stages of drunkness; It is forbidden to consume or take any type of narcotics on the boat. The right to alert the authorities is reserved for the crew.

Security on board

• We are in the sea, please be careful with your items so that they do not fall into the water. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged objects; Please be careful when walking on the sides of the boat, for your safety always keep at least one hand free to hold on to;

• Skipper is the person responsible for your safety, do not disturb him while he is in charge; The Skipper can cancel the trip, or prevent someone from boarding if he feels the need;

• This vessel is equipped with vests and buoys as well as all the necessary equipment for your safety; The little ones are more exposed to dangers, and because of this all children under 10 years old will be obliged to wear a life jacket; Those who are over 10 years old and feel that they should wear a vest, please do not hesitate to ask the crew for one;

• It is completely forbidden to enter the water without the authorization of the crew; It's great fun to dive from the boat into the water, but it can also be dangerous, so please respect the instructions given by the crew. Know that you are diving at your own risk and responsibility. Please be careful;

• Due to weather conditions and diving, the outer deck can sometimes become slippery, please be careful and respect the instructions given by the crew.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations 15 or more days before the date of the event - a refund of the total amount paid by the customer can take place;

• Cancellations between 14 and 8 days prior to the event date - a refund of up to 75% of the event value can take place;

• Cancellations between 7 and 2 days prior to the event date - a refund of up to 50% of the event value can take place;

• Cancellations with less than 48 hours in advance - no refunds will be applied;

• Cancellations due to adverse weather conditions: the event will be postponed to a date to be agreed upon between the client and Royal Marine. No refunds will be applied. This rescheduling can only be requested once by the client;

• Cancellations for technical reasons: Return of 100% of the amount paid by the customer;

• In the event of any unforeseen event such as a breakdown or bad weather conditions, the trip is considered complete when 60% of its duration has been completed.

• Any return will be processed within a maximum period of 14 days after the date of the event.

On the Day of the Trip 

• We recommend the group to meet at the door 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled hour, to avoid any delay. You should await on the established meeting point (Doca de Belém, door 1). One of our crew members will meet you there and guide you to the boat. Before embarkation, a security briefing will be given, please pay full attention to all the information and details. 

• Shoes are not allowed inside the boat, we recommend a simple and easy to take off shoe.
