General Conditions

Payment Policy: To guarantee the reservation of the date and time, a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the event must be made. The remaining 50% of the total amount must be paid 7 days in advance. If you would like an invoice with a taxpayer number, please provide the details at the time of payment.

The maximum capacity of the vessels must be respected, meaning that babies and children count as passengers, with no exceptions. Pérola & Xuxu – 14 passengers | SeaBar – 12 passengers | Oblivion – 40 passengers

A deposit is required for all trips (refundable at the end of the trip). Pérola & Xuxu – €100 | SeaBar & Oblivion – €200

If you choose to bring your own drinks and food, a non-refundable corkage fee will be charged. Please read the prohibited items list. You must bring all necessary materials and cooling methods. Pérola & Xuxu – €55 | SeaBar – €130 | Oblivion – €10 per person (only available for up to 20 passengers)

We can sell ice if requested in advance.

Prohibited Items

It is forbidden to bring shrimp, roasted chicken, glass beer bottles (only canned beer is allowed), and drinks based on red wine or dark beverages (such as red wine, red sangria, black vodka).

It is forbidden to bring glass cups onto the vessel.

Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the vessel. Only electronic cigarettes are allowed.

It is forbidden to bring or smoke shisha inside the vessel.

It is forbidden to bring confetti onto the vessel.
-
It is forbidden to consume or bring any kind of narcotics onto the boat.
-
The use of suntan lotion, body oils, glitter, and sequins is forbidden.

Boat Rules
-
To ensure everything starts off well, all passengers must be in good health and not under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.

We want to have food and drinks available for everyone; therefore, it is not allowed to take anything from the fridge or any other cabinet. Only crew members are authorized to do so. Any missing items may be charged to the customer.

To avoid damaging the sound system, do not touch any speakers or related devices, except if authorized by the crew.
-
It is strictly forbidden to spill any liquid on the speakers. Any damage caused will be charged to the customer.

We need to hold more events with this boat, so please do not do anything that could compromise the next trip. Any damage will be charged to the customer.

Do not touch any navigation devices or vessel control instruments. Any damage will be charged to the customer.

Smoking is not allowed on the vessel. A €150 fine may be applied. Only electronic cigarettes are permitted.

For your safety and an easy trip management, please follow the crew’s instructions regarding permitted and restricted areas of the boat.

If you feel seasick, we have seasickness medication available and can provide it upon request. Do not hesitate to ask.

In compliance with Portuguese law and to prevent accidents, alcohol consumption is prohibited for individuals under 18 years old. If necessary, the crew may request identification.

To prevent accidents, the crew may refuse to serve alcohol to individuals who are already in an advanced state of intoxication.

It is prohibited to consume or bring any type of narcotics onto the boat. The crew reserves the right to alert the authorities if necessary.

Onboard Safety

We are at sea, so please take care of your personal belongings to prevent them from falling into the water. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Please be careful when walking along the sides of the boat. For your safety, always keep at least one hand free to hold on.

The skipper is the person responsible for your safety. Do not disturb them while they are operating the boat. The skipper may cancel the trip or deny boarding to anyone if necessary.
-
These vessels are equipped with life jackets, lifebuoys, and a life raft, as well as all necessary safety equipment.
-
Children under 10 years old are required to wear a life jacket at all times. Those over 10 years old who feel they should wear one may ask the crew.
-
It is strictly prohibited to enter the water without crew authorization.
-
Diving from the boat is fun but can be dangerous. Please follow crew instructions. You are diving at your own risk and responsibility.

Due to weather conditions and swimming, the exterior deck may become slippery. Please be cautious and follow crew instructions.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 15 or more days before the event – Full refund of the amount paid by the customer.
-
Cancellations between 14 and 6 days before the event – Refund of up to 50% of the total event cost.
-
Cancellations up to 5 days before the event – No refund will be provided.
-
Cancellations due to adverse weather conditions – The event will be rescheduled for a date agreed upon between the customer and Royal Marine. No refunds will be provided.
-
WEATHER INSURANCE – Opt for our Weather Insurance to guarantee a 100% refund of the event. This will only apply in cases of adverse weather conditions. The cost of this insurance is €175.

Cancellations due to technical issues – 100% refund of the amount paid by the customer.
-
Any trip that has been rescheduled will not be eligible for a subsequent cancellation.
-
If an unexpected event such as a breakdown or bad weather occurs, the trip will be considered completed if at least 60% of its duration has been fulfilled.
-
Any refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 days after the event date.

On the Day of the Trip

We recommend that your group arrives 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled event time to avoid delays. You should wait at the designated meeting point (Doca de Belém, Gate 1 or Doca de Alcantrara, Gate 1). A crew member will guide you to the vessel.

Before boarding, a safety briefing will be given. Please pay close attention to the instructions. Shoes must be removed and placed in a box before boarding. We recommend wearing simple and easy-to-remove footwear.
