General Conditions

• The maximum capacity of the vessels must be respected. Babies and children count as passengers:

  • Pérola / Xuxu: 14 Passengers | SeaBar: 12 Passengers

• A refundable security deposit is charged at the end of the trip:

  • Pérola / Xuxu: 100€ | SeaBar: 200€

• Bringing your own food and drinks is subject to a corkage fee (non-refundable). The client must bring all necessary equipment and refrigeration. Drinks will be served exclusively by the crew. Please check the Prohibited Items.

• Corkage Fees:

  • Pérola / Xuxu: 55€ (up to 3 hours) | 75€ (more than 3 hours)

  • SeaBar: 130€

Payment Policy

• To secure the booking, a deposit of 50% of the total event cost is required.

• The remaining 50% must be paid up to 7 days before the event.

• Depending on the chosen payment method, additional fees may apply. These fees are the client’s responsibility and are non-refundable, even in case of cancellation or refund.

• If you require an invoice with tax number, please provide the details at the time of payment.

Trip Information 

• Swimming stops are only available on trips lasting 3 hours or more.

• The route is defined by the crew, taking into account the client’s preferences.

• Boarding/disembarking at other Marinas (Cascais, Oeiras, or Parque das Nações) incur additional costs.

Additional Services & Catering

• Any additional catering, bar or extra services may be provided if requested up to 48 hours before the event.

• Menu adjustments or customized menus are possible.

• Please inform us in advance of any allergies or food intolerances.

• Ice can be sold if requested in advance.

Prohibited Items

• Glass beer bottles (cans only allowed).

• Glass cups.

• Dark-colored drinks (red wine, red sangria, black vodka) or drinks based on them.

• White drinks must be limited.

• Shrimp, roast chicken.

• Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the vessel (only electronic cigarettes are allowed).

• Self-tanning creams and body oils (only traditional sunscreen is allowed).

• Shisha, confetti, glitter, and sequins.

• Any type of narcotic substance is strictly prohibited on board.

• Pets are only allowed upon request and prior approval.

On the Day of the Trip

• Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled time to avoid delays. Any delay caused by the client will not be compensated.

• Guests must wait at the designated Meeting Point: Belém Dock (Gate 1) or Alcântara Dock (Gate 1).

• A safety briefing will be given; please pay close attention to the instructions.

• Shoes must be removed before boarding (easy-to-remove footwear is recommended).

Onboard Rules

• Boarding will not be allowed for visibly intoxicated persons. We aim to ensure a fun environment while maintaining safety and respect for everyone on board.

• Smoking is not permitted on the vessel. A fine of €150 may be applied. Only electronic cigarettes are allowed.

• Only the crew may access refrigerators and cabinets. Any missing items may be charged to the client.

• Touching speakers, sound systems, navigation, or control systems is strictly prohibited. Any damage caused by the client to the vessel or its equipment will be charged accordingly.

• For your safety and smooth trip management, please respect the crew’s instructions regarding permitted and restricted areas of the boat.

• If you feel seasick, we have motion sickness tablets available — please do not hesitate to ask the crew.

• Alcohol consumption is prohibited for minors under 18 years old (the crew may request identification if necessary).

• The crew may refuse to serve alcohol to anyone who appears excessively intoxicated.

• Narcotics are strictly prohibited (authorities may be contacted).

Safety On Board

• As we are at sea, please take care of your personal belongings to prevent them from falling into the water. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

• Please be careful when walking along the sides of the boat. For your safety, always keep at least one hand free to hold on.

• The Skipper is responsible for your safety; please do not disturb them while they are operating the vessel. The Skipper may cancel the trip or prevent someone from boarding if deemed necessary.

• The vessels are equipped with life jackets, buoys, and a life raft, as well as all required safety equipment. (Children up to 10 years old must wear a life jacket at all times. Those over 10 who feel they should wear one are encouraged to ask the crew.)

• Entering the water without crew authorization is strictly prohibited. Please respect the crew’s instructions. Swimming is done at your own risk and responsibility.

• At times, the exterior deck may become slippery. Please be careful and follow the crew’s instructions.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 15 or more days before the event date: full refund of the amount paid.

• Cancellations made between 14 and 6 days before the event date: refund of up to 50% of the event value.

• Cancellations made 5 days or less before the event date: no refund will be issued.

• Cancellations due to adverse weather conditions: the event will be rescheduled for a date agreed between the client and Royal Marine. No refund will apply.

• WEATHER INSURANCE – Weather Insurance guarantees a full refund (100%) of the event in case of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions. The decision is the sole responsibility of the vessel’s captain This insurance costs €175.

• The client may only opt for Weather Insurance at the time of booking; it cannot be purchased later.

• Cancellations due to technical issues: 100% refund of the amount paid.

• Any trip that has been rescheduled is not eligible for subsequent cancellation.

• In case of unforeseen circumstances such as mechanical failure or adverse weather, the trip is considered completed once 60% of its duration has been fulfilled.

• Any refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 days after the event date.
